The Accelerated Learning Academy (ALA) provides a proven educational environment and culture for high school students who have not been successful in more traditional school settings. The ALA curriculum includes web-delivered instruction blended with project-based curriculum and surrounds it with specialized furnishings and technology, all designed to maximize effective teaching and learning. Specially trained faculty and administrators establish and maintain a culture that empowers students and results in improved student attendance, engagement and achievement.

Aimed at connecting “rigor and relevance”, ALA customizes project-based curriculum to link rigorous academic standards to real world applications in the local economy, thereby delivering the skills and competencies necessary for success in the complex workplace of the 21st century as well as in postsecondary education. Working in tandem with the Chester Upland School District, ALA’s objective is to graduate students with:   Increased motivation and sense of self-worth Greater logic and critical thinking ability A stronger set of workplace related skills Higher ability to perform in team-oriented, workplace settings A stronger sense of direction for future growth and goals Interest in lifelong learning

The Accelerated Learning Academy is a partnership between the Chester Upland School District and ResulTech, a division of the Citadel Group, Inc (TCG).  ResulTech provides capacity building, development, training, support, and other technical services for innovative educational programs.  This includes technology, management, and support services to and management services to K-12 education industry.
